It use to make the horn sound when locked and now it doesn’t I thought it could have just been a fuse but now I checked them all and they all seem to work but now I don't know what the problem could be. Any ideas on what it could be? My truck is a 2005 Toyota tacoma SR5 Access cab

Do the turn signals flash when locking/unlocking the doors with the remote?
As for the horn, mine has never “beeped” since I got it.
    Does your horn work?

@Dm93 might know what horn is supposed to beep?
Mine never has, and I don’t want it to.

I don't think the earlier models had the beeper, not sure what year it was added.
If you did have the beeper it would be right in front of the battery on the radiator support.
I bet you have an aftermarket alarm/remote start installed that was honking.

Yes it has the same key fob but it was replaced because the old one stopped working and as soon it stopped working it stopped doing the beep and when it was replaced it was just silent

The stock beeper (if equipped) would look like this and be in the spot where you took the photo.

    BTW?
How is your battery being held in?
I don’t see the hold down strap?

So it just doesn't have it? It don't see like a harness for the beeper because it was doing the beeping way before but stopped. Would the beeper be in the spot where the black box is at next to the battery?

Every one I've seen was mounted to the radiator support, the grey finned box is the fuel pump resistor.
You may want to look under the dash for any wiring that doesn't look factory, I'm still thinking you may have an aftermarket alarm and not know it.
