Does anyone notice the differences of the front door panels on our tacoma from 05-08 and 09-11. Or is it an option thing? Mines an 05 and I have the 2 bottle holders and along with some storage spaces on my door panels and notice the the newer tacoma has just the 2 bottle holders and no storage on the door panels. I just think its odd thats all.

Thanks all for the comments! It is a 4X4 TRD Off Road Package, I saw nothing in the documentation for Pre-Runner etc. nor is it in the badging. So I am I am at a loss if I am missing something or Toyota has dropped that???
The roof rack is interesting and eventually I am probably going to add a Surco basket style full length roof rack that has the shovel/pick storage option, wish they made a system to store an Extreme High Jacker. The picture shows the cross arms in their storage position. When you put them into the use position they pull up and pivot across. There is a pull up lever and the lock is similar to what you have with a thermos. Put the lever down and it expands a rubber plug tightening it in the socket.
I am not sure if the door panels are an option as I bought off the lot, 30-45 days for an order here, and it had everything I wanted in the option set and I liked the color. If I ordered it would have been the brown/tan color and called CODI (Color Of Dirt Investment).

Thanks KE5WZJ. Last month I got a Flex 5000A with all of the options and will get my VU5K option in Dec. or Jan., the waiting list is long and they are just starting production. My Kenwood 710A will go in my Taco when it gets back from Kenwood repairs. Still scratching on how to mount my Diamond 7200 antenna.
