Here is my 2011 project I have been modifying my truck to suit my line of work. I started with a flatbed that came out real nice, but I think I made it a bit heavy. I'm debating on air suspension. Im open to opinions on the air suspension.

Next will be ARB front bumper. They sure do look nice and seem to be tough.

I was also wondering if there is a way to disconect the Limited Slip in My truck. It does me no good in the mountains.

Im new to this forum so be gentle.:D

Nice project! The limited slip on 2011's are e-LSD's that use the brakes to limit wheel spin and only when you push the button to activate it. There is nothing really to disconnect.

In that picture it almost looks like your truck started off as a TRD Off-Road, in which case you have an e-locker which is also only active when you push the button. Nothing to disconnect there either.

Here are some more pics of the truck. It is a TRD I just wish it didnt have all this fancy anti slip stuff.

Im a bear and mountain lion guide. I drive through some rough rocky country day in and day out. Tacomas are the best truck for this kind of work. All though I liked my gen. 1 a little better than this new one, but it still gets the job done.

I had to add a helper spring. Im pretty sure I will be putting air suspension on it. I have thought of throwing a lift on it. How much is a good lift kit?
