My 2012 taco getting new evap system for Xmas from my dealership.

Took my truck in today and had a nice lenghty conversation with the salesman and service dept. manager.After telling them what I've learned about the problem. They did agree that it could pose an unsafe driving condition and also agreed to replace the valves and pump with the newer 2013 up type.They also admitted they deleted the p2442(small leak) code as they felt the gas cap was the culprit and replaced it.They denied erasing any other codes but who knows.Anyway I'm driving a 2017 Tundra as a loaner til tomorrow that only has 20 miles on it.I think they are dangling a carrot in front of the horse.lol So hopefully all is well and I get my Taco all fixed. It also didn't hurt that I go to church with the former retired Service manager at this dealership.
