That liscence plate frame is badass! I love subtle things that most people wouldn't notice.

I'm doing the same thing. Mine is a '98, so it's only 13 years off from the 1985 Pickup they used in the movie. I actually have the same rollbar used in the movie going on my truck once I get it sandblasted and powdercoated.

    You'll like my license plate.

What size tires do you have? I'm thinking of going 265/75/16 or 265/70/16.

I actually have 3rd Gen TRD OR wheels on my 1st Gen. They have BF Goodrich KO2 LT265/75R16 tires.

Nice... No lift I presume? Just worried about any rubbing with the 265/75. It's almost 32 inch where the 70/ is 31

Why thank you! I have a 3” lift on it now, and this picture was taken before my PreRunner to 4WD conversion so now it sits higher and has Red AISIN manual hubs up front. This is an old picture.

No lift in that picture, but I have a 3” ICON lift kit now. That picture was taken at the stock PreRunner height.

I do rub the upper control arm with my ‘98. Just because your guys wheels have much less backspacing than we 1st gen guys do.

Nice looking taco. I can relate, though not an AC and can't really run a roll bar. But easy enough to throw some sleeping bags in the back.
