My 2021 Tacoma accelerated on its own?!

That transmission part I just can't understand. There's no issue, they're smooth, and precise. I've not had an automatic transmission work as well as these.

 

Mine just did this same thing to me last week and again yesterday. Definitely no cruise control. It was a fairly heavy acceleration, definitely not a shift. I do have a tune but its been fine for almost a year and just started this crap. Maybe TPS? I'm going to have the tune redone just to be sure next week, but I fear it will happen again. Haven't been able to replicate it though which is a little concerning.

 

I had this happen to me once again last week same year same trim tacoma with OTT tune. Really hoping it continues to be a one off thing but i do lots of driving in slippery conditions with all the driver aids turned off and the first time it happened i spun out doing 50kmh through half a foot of snow and almost did a 180 into the ditch. Thankfully only happens a couple times a year though and always after giving the throttle a pump then letting off.

 

I'm pretty sure it's ECU glitch : my 2019 AC 6MT OR did this twice. Both times just shift gear down, all good!
