@Alloutdrs1 Nice, looks like a new truck! I think the 3rd Gen wheels look better on a 2nd Gen.

I agree, they look great on 2nd gens. Very easy and cost effective update if you have a 2nd gen.

Been awhile since I bought the rims but I want to say I paid $350 for them, the tires I just bought this week and they were 131$ a tire and free shipping plus $100 rebate on a set of 4 and then $56 to mount and balance all 4.

So i picked up a set of 17 OR wheels and the factory sensors were included in them. Will they be able to be programmed into the 2nd gen taco? (2011) Need to delete my steelies and add these new ones.
wondering if i need to buy 2nd gen sensors and swap out the 3rd gens. Thanks!

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
You will need 2nd gen sensors for aluminum wheels.

I have seen a used 2nd Gen set on eBay for $69 or so, IIRC. You could then sell your 3rd Gen sensors and recoup the cost.

I had to get the senors reprogrammed on mine. Luckily it was free, the shop I work at does a lot of business with them. Put steel 16’s on CL with sensor, lug nuts, caps, etc. 14,000 on the tires. Gone in two hours for asking price. So now I’m $350 all in on these. E2E5D69B-158B-46D3-B2E3-07AC80C0601A.jpg

Thanks all! Gonna try to do the same. Picked up a set of OR wheels for 700 with sensors. Ordered a set of 2nd gen tpms on eBay for 75 and try to flip the 3rd gens let me know if anyone needs a set of third gen tpms!

I don't have pictures at the moment, but I was able to pick up a set of 2017 TRD Sport wheels from the dealership for $400.00. They had a couple Offroad and Sport sets just sitting in the parts department when I went to take a look. I'm very impressed with the upgrade to my 2011 Sport and would recommend it to anyone thinking about it.

I dig it! Im a fan of toyota wheels on toyota trucks! The styling is understated and you know you won't have any issues with quality or fitment. I see lots of people paying too much for a/m wheels, they aren't hub centric, the hub caps are falling off..

Best looking OEM wheels imo, good choice.

Thanks! I really didn't like the OEM wheels that came stock on my 2013 TRD Sport.

I just got a set of those and I'm gonna put these center caps in and put 265/70/17 KO2's on as well.

I was going to tag you in that thread too, but you were already there. I like those center caps way better than the other ones

anyone know if both size lugs work? I'm putting on 3rd gen OR wheels onto my 2nd gen. The set i received off the 3rd gen OR are about a half inch longer than the shorter lugs i ordered online that match the 2nd gen alloy wheel lugs. Wondering if i can use either set?

I believe if your going from Sport to OR they won't be long enough. When I got rid of my Sport rims and when to 3rd gen gen OR rims I couldn't use my old ones. Hope this helps.
