is the backspacing of a 3rd gen 16 or 17" offroad rim the same as a 2nd gen 16" offroad? I have a 2015 TRD off road and was wondering if the 3rd gen backspacing is the same .

    Thanks

I'll wait til the "craze" dies down and pick up a set for $200 or less. No way in hell I'm paying $400+ for factory wheels.

Shoot, I’d pay $400 all day, these fools on Craigslist are asking $900 and up... that’s with tires but they are just the OEM tire with miles. Unbelievable.

Really have to be patient to get a good deal. The guy I bought mine from for $500 (wheels, tires, lug nuts, tpms, 200 miles) was a Toyota technician. Might be worth going to the dealership and talking to them about 3rd gen take offs.

I paid $650 with free shipping on ebay and was glad to do it. They are going up in price and hard to find. Mine were 30 mile takeoffs from a 2017.

Those look great, classy styling, 17's are more pronounced than the 16' OR wheel I just mounted. I think we are definitely onto something
here vs the stock gen 2 alloys etc.

What did you need to do for 285/70/17, what lift? Mine are 265/75/16 with .85 setting on 5100 shocks, front only, no changes to rear, absolutely no rubbing and truck is nearly dead flat level. Cooper M+S are just what I wanted, not too aggressive and tons of winter bite.SAM_3087.jpg SAM_3092.jpg
