My 2nd Taco; Gen 2 Upgrade

    My 1st Tacoma was an 03 Prerunner, 3.4L, dbl cab, 2WD short bed. After 15 years and 136K miles the little truck owes me nothing. I change the oil, filters, tires, put on a new stainless exhaust. The dash lights just went, the AC just stopped, The tranie does not like to upshift until warm, it recently developed a vibration on take off (disappears coasting or cruising over 60 MPH). I was looking to upgrade to a Gen 1 dbl cab with 4WD (I wanted to drive in the NE winters) when I ran into Gen 2's with modern equipment, components and devices. I just had to have one. So I am now in a 2013 TRD, 103K miles, dbl cab, short bed, with a Bakflip tonneau, rain gaurds, and nerf bars. I love this truck. With luck I will live long enough to pass it on to my daughter. She said she is not holding her breaaaaath.
