I wouldn't want it after it was repaired knowing what it was like before it was fixed. The kamakazi attacks of these QS trucks makes me scared for mine.. :plane:
But :itllbuffout: , if the insurance company wants it to. So :rasta: and relax, it may be some time before you get some cash for a total out or get your truck from the repair shop.

Glad to hear no one got hurt. If it wasn't your fault I'd get the other parties insurance to pay you out. Not sure of this is what you wanna do but tell them that as long as they pay the truck off full amount owed, you will sign waivers so that there will be no more costs or settlement for this incident. Hope that made sense.

I suspect it isn't totaled by your comments, but time will tell. Like someone said it can depend how hard you push it...

If you keep it I would consider going back with a winch and steel bumper if you get off road at all. I hit a deer and for the cost of a new OEM bumper, paint and a minor part of two I bought the winch, steel bumper and had a few bucks left over! I hit another deer a few years later and the bumper did just fine. Sold the truck this year :( but had over 300K. Don't think the accident reduced my value at that point.

Hahahahahaha you've been watching one too many lawyer commercials on daytime TV!

The post below yours speaks the truth.

OP, just get it repaired and move on, chalk it up to experience and be happy that it wasn't worse.

It could possibly be moral support... I know when something happens to my truck, I like support from others that care about vehicles the same....

Can it be totaled. Abs so fucking lootley. You just need to get it going fast enough and smack square into a brick wall, or get a dump truck/ semi to get up to about 60 and slam right into it.

For real, sorry to see another smacked around taco, I'm still waiting to get mine back and I know how much I wish they just replaced it, it would make me feel better, but it's a money game and that doesn't look to be new truck worthy.

I am still waiting to get mine back also from a stupid roof incident... They are never the same, takes the shine off a new truck... so many stories of this. We buy a brand new truck and pray we get a few years of that feeling. when it gets bashed in that feeling is forever gone and we are stuck with it... I feel sorry for the OP, I really do. Truth is it will be repaired and as good as new, however; the feeling for the OP having a brand new truck that's rock solid, is probably gone. :(

As a moral booster, I was driving on the freeway in Seattle. I know I risked it right there but kept going.. Some guy in an old Focus that was most definitely high on something slammed on his brakes about a quarter mile before traffic was slowing down way ahead of us. I swerved to the side and clipped his right rear with my left front. Damage looked very similar to yours. They fixed it and I ended up with a brand new Sport hood on my Off Road Gen 2 for no extra $. It came out great and no one would ever know by looking at the outside or under the hood. From my old 4-wheeler and dirt bike days we had a saying that if you break it, you get it back to the way it was and then do something to make it even better. I went with sliders since I see a lot of people running red lights around here and the sliders will aid in the Seattle Battle-Driving environment as well as off road adventures. Good luck with yours and don't forget to keep an eye on your insurance premiums.

I'd love that truck even more. It saved a life once and has earned my respect. It deserves to live

I got in a worse accident last year with my truck( airbag deployed, frame horns were bent, and needed new core support, radiator, hood, fenders, lights, and grill) and insurance told me the truck is worth too much to total it. check out the thread on my page
