    700 MILE UPDATE

I am really enjoying the Tacoma! The "crazy" trans shifting has almost gone away completely. Maybe its learning, maybe its breaking in, maybe I am just crazy and it wasn't doing it before, I don't know.

I have noticed the dash rattle from the glove box area. Sticking foam in random places now to see if I can fix it.

MPGs have slightly increased. sitting at 19.9 now. IMO the cruise control programming still needs some tweaking. It will rev up (close to 3500RPM) way too much on slight inclines to maintain speed. Doesnt feel like a downshift, just a pedal to the floor feeling. But it doesn't do it every time. Mostly stays around 1500 RPM and raises to 2000 when needing to catch up.

Service department has really stepped up. For some reason the bed cleats were not in the truck. I didn't noticed until a week later. They gave me a set for free.

I think I am going to really enjoy this truck for a long time. The more I drive it, the more I like it. Didnt get that feeling with the Canyon. I did with the Sierra though. But I cant really compare the taco to the Sierra.
