I'm glad I am inspiring your truck! I love the white tacos, but they just look like work trucks if they are just plain and simple. Here's another build thread of a white Tacoma going through a makeover, this was my inspiration for my build:

Good influence, indeed. Both of your trucks look sweet! Funny how a few accent pieces totally transform the look of the baby Tacos. Just merely upgrading my tires and putting the white lettering on the outside, made mine feel 100X more manly. Even the tire guys were impressed. Keep up the good work, thanks for sharing!

Thanks! And that's my plan next! I'm trying to figure out what tires to add. I'm very new with terms and trying to figure out what width and height would be suitable without causing any rubbing. I am going to put the Fat Bob's 2.75 lift on it and read that it does well with 245/75/16, however, I've seen some 5 lugs running on 265/75/16

I cant speak for fat bobs but when I first got my truck I put a ReadyLIFT kit on it and put 265/75R16 and I got little to no rubbing. I wouldn't worry about rubbing on either of those sizes.

Gotcha! Did you remove the black box that are in the 5-lugs as well? I heard that causes rubbing on bigger tires

You should get them, LJ! Never realized how much a difference aftermarket wheels make. Since they are wider, they stick out from the flares which looks significantly better than being all tucked inside the wheel well

OP- meant to comment on here, back in I think July I saw you bombing down braddock road near Mason...think I saw you again about a month ago over near old town fairfax. Love the build, how are mpg's looking, and how did your truck handle in the massive snow storm we got last winter?
