I plan to get something like Dobinsons down the road, but it's the lowest of priorities.

With that said, I've got some Bilstein 5100's(?) I'm willing to trade for stock coilovers on my GX470.

I'll try and grab a better picture of the actual label but there they are.

This thing is and will remain a pavement princess. I don't need a lift, and I especially don't care for the spacer added on top.

So here's a free upgrade otherwise I'll lock them away in storage once I swap them out myself and forget about them :bananadead:

See if you can get pics of the sticker on the shock body. Those look like TRD Pro or Baja coilovers (made by Bilstein and based on the 6112 not the 5100). The 6112 based shocks are MUCH better than the 5100's.

I can try tomorrow, and you might be right since I've got Billies with the reservoir in the back and the previous owner did say they're TRD Pro

I just saw silver and figured they're just 5100's

I've only had Fox, Icon, and King so not too familiar with Billies but if they are the nicer variants, it doesn't change anything I'd still trade them out

Yup, sounds like you've got a full Tacoma TRD Pro setup - they were 6100 based in the front and 5160 based in the rear. That shock body you show in the picture is WAY bigger than the 5100's. Plus, the 5100's don't come with red springs whereas the TRD Pro/Baja suspension did.

Killer deal for someone. I went from OEM TRD Offroad to the TRD Pro and it was a fantastic upgrade.

I did stock 3rd gen Tacoma (off road) front coilovers on my GX470. They were way too soft. Mushy front end feel and bottomed out easily. Maybe spring for some sport model ones, or go a different route completely like 5100 paired with your stock springs.

Apparently I've got Bilstein 6112's up front :burp:

Doing an oil change right now and I got a pic of one of the part numbers

    Here's the other

If nothing soon, I'll pull them off and sell them

If you still need parts shoot me a PM, I have a ton of super low mileage Factory suspension ready to bolt on.
And I have the 10 coil springs so they are the better ones for heavier setups like yours.
