I recently replaced the valve cover gaskets on my late year 95 tacoma. After reinstallation, new plugs and wires, the engine has a bit of a hesitation problem. The CEL is on and the codes are P0100, P0110, P0325, P0330. So after reading forum posts I believe the Knock sensors are not functioning properly. Could there be a wiring problem(short) somewhere that I should check before I replace all components listed or what? Could one code cause others to come on, i.e MAF sensor throws off KS, or vice versa. Could it be the plugs breaking in? I'm really lost and can't afford to throw money into it. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Hi, I just did the same job & was getting p0325 p0330 & p0115 codes, the last one is the coolant temp sensor circuit failed the first 2 are the 2 knock sensor circuits failure.
I had labelled all the hoses & plugs except the 3 conductor wire harness that sits at the front of the engine, grey in colour and when unplugged hides really well under the lip of timing belt cover...only took me a day to find.
Plugged back in all those codes stopped & all is good, engine runs fine with no oil leakage.
If you didn't reef on the wire loom too hard doing the VC gasket repair maybe it's an overlooked electrical plug or vacuum hose....

Yep thats what happened. The wire was tucked under the harness running along the valve cover. Amazing how such a simple overlook can cause such a big problem. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Sometimes you get lucky with help, other times not...In my case the only help I had on this job was my dog, & when I blamed her she just wagged her tail.:D
Glad the advice came in handy.
