My 96 Ext. Cab 5vz 4wd turbo build.

Damn, I don't know how I missed your build thread, but I did. That's awesome that the CXRacing manifolds are working well for you. I can't wait to try them on my 4Runner!

 

I saw your "For Sale" thread where you sold your turbo stuff.

What made you decide to get rid of the turbo?

 

i wanted more power and wanted to keep the tacoma as my daily so i decided to buy a 2wd single cab pickup and build that to have fun with that instead of messing with the daily so much. the tacoma with the turbo was awesome, not one problem. everything worked great and the truck was actually pretty decent on 15psi. ran my buddies charger rt (he ran 13.4 in 1/4mile) from a low roll and i beat him by about 1 car. i miss it sometimes, but the new build is a whole nother beast.
