My 98 Terrible Taco 5 speed transmission problems

Just wondering did you change the pilot bearing in the flywheels? I have run many a 4 speed Yeap old fart.lost gears but that was putting twice the power to a pos tranny..Would like to know.Thanks and hopefully it is fixed now.

 

Yes. New pilot bearing and I also had to replace my input shaft. The end where the pb rides had a little edge and groove on it. I had the trans completely rebuilt. Bearings and synchro's. New flywheel, clutch was done not to long ago as well. It shifts and drives perfect now. Nice and smooth with the rear driveshaft rebuilt ad well.
