Someone, for some reason, put a silly 6' wide by 8' long aluminum flatbed on this little 2wd tacoma, which was clearly built for a short bed.
When I purchased this truck , I never expected it to keep going like this- Until this little truck, I've been the last owner of every vehicle I've owned.

Eight years later, she's kept up better than I have- I need something with a bit more ground clearance, and more traction- the days of physically dragging myself out of a ditch are over, but this little truck lives on, and wants to keep at it.
She's moved everything for me- I've moved all of my belongings more than twice with this truck. small tractors, literal tons of sheetrock (across many loads) and more lumber than I care to remember. Tools and tool boxes.
She's never hesitated, and never needed any REAL work.

We fluidfilm every vehicle every fall, and her frame is still practically new because of it.
I've done front lower ball joints twice, and I think it's because the awkward bed is taking too much weight off the front wheels.

If only I could easily bolt-on 4wd, I never would have replaced her.
Never thought I'd see this little 99 head on down the road- but my life has taken a turn and I need more traction... and a larger cab.

Hopefully her next owner treats her as well as I have.

Too much. I don't think I'm allowed to list classifieds here yet so it's local only for now.

    I'll get there :)

I made this account for some question I had about the 99 many years ago... but it's been such a reliable truck I've hardly had to come here for help.

The 2013 so far is causing a lot more questions.
