My AAL TSB experience

so i called toyota of escondido and i said i have a harsh ride when i haul and he asked for my vin number and year and miles and i was eligible so he ordered the parts and my appt. is set for friday!

 

Nice...i had mine done the week before last and its got a little more rake in the rear end. but in my opinion the ride is not stiffer like the stealerships says. You may notice a slight difference but not much.

just called and they want me to bring it in to inspect. would my lift in the front create any probs?

 

damn im jealous. wish i wouldve found out about the tsb in time

 

just go to the dealership. maybe they'll do it. they have inspect mine first. i have an extended warranty, so i dont know whats the problem.

 

eh im not too worried, im ordering the wheeler's 3 leaf progressive pack thing so i dont care haha

 

Ok so i just got off the phone with Toyota Corp. and they say my 2005 prerunner REGULAR cab already came with the upgraded leaf spring package and that im out of the warranty parameters. But i have and extended warranty 75k or 5 yrs!! She said that the only vehicles valid is the Prerunners/TRDs with Access cabs or 4 drs. So then i ask why my vehicle already came with it and the newer models didnt and she said that they were manufactured that way. the bulletin didnt come out until some time later and my Taco is one of the first 05 off the lot. shit barely out the oven. Aint that some bullshit. she then gave me a reference # and told me it would be better off seeing a private shop.

they just said yeah weel order the parts and we can do it friday!
im stoked cuz i do have the billi 5100 2.5 in the front
