Wow. Total drag that it happened like that. There has to be a Detailer shop that would be able to get that off for a reasonable price.

We recently had a road re-finished in my area and the road crew dumped an abnormal amount of yellow all over the road. There were track marks all through it as I approached. I was freaking out. Luckily I ended up with no splash on my truck. But I always worried about that also, so I can only imagine how you are feeling. Good luck!

I have a $1000 deductible as well. Full (but very basic) coverage, nothing fancy and I pay $125 a month. 1 speeding ticket in 3 years and no accidents. 31 years old. Auto insurance is fucking expensive in Southern California.

I feel your pain!! same thing happened to me last month but i was on a dirt trail and some low life POS decided to leave/dump their pails of white paint on the trail. Needless to say i ended up hitting on of them.

Simple Green should work on your rims, deffinilty took some elbow grease as well but was able to get it all off. I've got mat-black procomp rims. Not sure about the tires, i was due for tires so they were replaced the next weekend.

It is definately water based, I was able to power wash it off the body only, I think the paint got into the matte finish.

WD-40 the hell out of the tires and get a gallon of goof off. Take the rims and tires off and soak the shit out of some rags with goof off and set them in the rims. My daughters car got vandalized with spray paint and thats how we got it off. WD-40 and goof off.

Do you think that will take off the matte finish of the rims at all?

My daughters rims had a gunmetal finish on them with black spay paint on top. Her car is white and it got spray painted black. It all came off with no damage to the paint or the rims. Disclaimer time your experience may be different. It has to be better than the someone blew their wad on your truck look. JK good luck

    holy shit!

I have full coverage with towing and rental car on my 2011. Well above basic coverage. 2 speeding tickets in the last 12 years and mine is only $62 a month. $100 collision and $50 comp deductibles.

I made that mistake years ago when I had a mustang and put $1000 deductible on it then forgot to change it when I switched to my 2000 taco. That shit hurt when I hit a deer and had to pay that. Dropped my deductibles to 0 on both back then and it went up maybe $12-13 a month.

I've got paint on seats, rims, and on my paint...Goo off works great to remove paint. I've had days like that too, but I somehow find a way to match clamity with serenity in the end.

You need to figure out what kind of paint it is first.

Use a pocket knife or something to carefully peel a few blobs of paint off the tires. Because the tires are flexible and easier to do that with.

Put the blobs in various small containers of solvents and see what softens the blobs.

Serious note, bring it back to the tire place and have them flip the tires?

For the steps, plastidip and call it a day. :notsure:

But yea at first glance, I kinda like it. Very artistic. Very original.

Try Brillo pads on the tire. The blue ones with the soapy stuff. I got paint off tires with it before. I was the guy who drove thru it in front of a new car....:anonymous:

Don't remind me, ugh...lol. Not to go off topic here but yeah, SoCal sucks for a lot of reasons expense-wise. That was the cheapest (decent) insurance I could get and it was through Esurance. Everyone else was even more expensive for the same coverage.
