Had the eibach pro lift, Icon AAL and SPC control arms installed and after I had my alignment done Iv noticed the steering wheel doesn’t return to center as fast as it did before. I also went up a size and have a beefier tire so that could contribute.

it returns to center but I notice it’s not As snappy as it was before.

Truck tracks strait on the highway.

    Does this alignment look ok?

Personally I don’t like that they didn’t get toe and camber to zero. That should have been a none issue. Also I prefer more caster. I’d say it was a mediocre alignment at best.

I gotcha. I don’t want to have to pay $60 for another one so you think I should leave it as it is? Will it hurt anything?

it's ok if you like how it drives.

according to that, you had a wildly toe-out alignment before. not sure that was the actual reading before, maybe that was saved during the alignment process. but if that's how it was before that's like race car toe levels. the tires were pointed outwards. OE factory spec is 0.05 inward.

That was after I had my lift installed. The previous shop eye balled it so I could drive it home for the night and get it aligned today.

Probably not gonna cause any drastic tire wear, technically it’s in the green. Just sucks that the alignment guys didn’t do a better job. With the spc ucas they should have been able to dial in all those adjustments perfectly and it appears they were just to lazy to do it perfectly, they saw green and called it a day.

I mean I could go back to the shop and bitch but I really dont want to be "that guy" if it drives ok and its not going to hurt anything. I am going in for my last free oil change at the dealer on the 17th so I could always have them do it to see if they can get it a little better

    Mods? Yes.
I just did the same yesterday, so I'll add my point of reference for the discussion and the next traveler who wonders across this.

I did OME888, Dakar Heavy, 5100s. I opted not to do the UCA to see if we could get it aligned. If the were 1/3 the price, I would have just done them.

Now the alignment. Note, this is a reputable shop that I got many recommendations for. It also was a bit on the pricey side. They took into consideration my weight, driving conditions and the fact that I did not have my camper shell currently installed (note the slightly negative camber).

    20200311_140911.jpg

I am now full team UCA on this class of lift, and will be picking some up. The caster is just too negative low for my and my shop's liking (not to mention out of spec) and it definitely comes through as not liking to center or stay center. Otherwise, perfectly drivable.

The reason I spent the extra $500 for the SPCs was I didn’t want any alignment issues

Did they even make an attempt at caster?

Yeah they said they did their best, but with OEM adjustment points, they got it as far as it would go without impacting targets for toe and camber
