My alignment specs after 3'' lift, what do you think?

    Hi, just got my truck aligned after a 3'' lift install.

    Here are the final numbers :

    He aligned it with the 2011 specs, because he didn't have the 2014, but I don't think they changed that much...?

    What do you guys think? I think it's pretty damn straight. According to what I read, these numbers are withing the specified range. Mecanic said : when it's green, it's good.

    Full OME lift 885's with Dakar leaf springs. LR UCA's. ImMrYo relocation bracket.
    Caster is too low. Toe/Camber should be 0

    Why 3 degrees? I need more than Toyota suggest because of the lift?

    im guessing OP doesn't have UCA's to correct his alignment.

    Nah, still on stock everything. My truck is brand new and I didn't want to void my warranty by changing parts. The Toyota dealer told me a body lift would not void it because it was only blocks between susp.

    Still, the OEM specs accepts 1.2 degrees of caster...

    NEVER set your truck up to stock specs with a lift.

    Those two statements couldn't be more wrong.

    Swapping shocks will not void your warranty if done right.

    Adding spacers is the worst thing you could do to a trucks suspension IMHO.

    I didn't ask whether or not lifting with blocks was good... I'm aware of all this...

    Factory specs for caster : 1 to 2.5.

    I guess you need more when you're lifted?

    Thank you! :) I'll check to see if they can improve the caster... But I doubt since I don't have aftermarket UCAs.

    I was just stating this because the dealer is 100% incorrect.

    If it drives good and you like it....don't worry until the next alignment. Next alignment try and have the caster bumper up.

    Sounds good :)

    I'll try it after work and see how it handles. I know bad caster can make the truck drive like crap.

    Low caster won't affect much now negative caster is bad. And toe is alright most of the gm vehicles I do at work at either 0.0-0.2 total depending if fwd or rwd

    Thank you! Yes, numbers are within the accepted OEM specs, even though caster could have been better but I have no UCAs to correct this... That's all that counts I guess :)

    What UCA's are you going with? I'll have some LR's available soon but they'll need new BJs.

    Wise decision. I have the LR UCA's. I am giving them a second go only because they replaced them under warranty.

    It helps push the tire away from the firewall.
