Can’t believe it, 56k miles and 4 years later, It just got it’s first door ding with damaged paint. Life sucks. :pout: Now I’ll have to part it out because it’s totaled.

Maybe it’s just the picture but that looks like it is coming from inside the fender and not dented inward.

You might as well cut the bed sides and go high clearance rear bumper now :)

I’ve been waiting to get a rear bumper paid for, I wonder if my insurance will cover it?

Odd placement. And looks like an outie, not an innie.

I just felt the inside of the fender - it is from the inside, no tire chains or anything like that, can’t believe a rock would’ve hit it that hard. Tin foil fenders!

Looks like it would have taken out the rear bumper cap if had hit there.

I did hear something hit hard in the back, we were on our way back home from Utah. I thought it was the trailer hitch making a noise, that must’ve been it.

Sorry to see it, man. Odd spot for sure, but I'm not surprised. These trucks have crazy thin metal everywhere. I have dents in my hood from nuts falling off a tree!

Crazy part is the angle that it hit. Musta bounced off a brace or something and still had enough energy to dent the fender?

I’ll have to check the wheel tomorrow. There’s no tire damage as far as I could tell. A thrown wheel weight sounds possible…

Or just a rock that got kicked up at 50mph and ricocheted around.
