Man my regular cab is a blast to drive with the sway bar attached. It's super fun on interchanges with no traffic at night.

I guess with a loaded & lifted truck the best we can hope for is predictable body roll lol.

Bought a bumper over Turkey Day week from @Croth51's Black Friday sale. It's coming along and hopefully I get my heap going so I can drive over and have it installed by him:

Motivation - been in my computer room for years typing on this machine. Someday (hopefully soon) I'll be done with school and riding off into the Wild West sunset :)

He's a good dude, but I'm not sure why he likes Airtex and Wells products haha. Looks like they're on the right track here though. Having a 95 (technically) I barely have an emissions system. I have a line from my gas tank to a literal charcoal can (actually a metal can) and a single valve that allows the intake to pull air and vapor through the can haha. Very basic and the only year with that particular system. I actually really like it because if it ever breaks it is super cheap to fix and there is barely anything to go wrong.

Pic to show... my cruiser is the same too...

Nice engine shots. I'm pretty sure my system wouldn't be too hard to figure out - of course I'd know that if I didn't have to be sitting in front of the computer all week - I can't wait for this week to be over and it's not even begun

I'm into anything that's free lol - I try to learn all I can so I'm not caught with my pants down when my cel comes on some day.

Their technicians seem to be good dudes, but their products leave much to be desired. Your system (which my 96 came with initially) is pretty simple but includes a pressure transducer and a switching valve for venting as well as using the intake vacuum. I can't wait for the week to be over either, this is shaping up to be a very busy one for me and I didn't even get to do my brakes this weekend so I guess I'm driving the Tacoma. I'd take the Harley but last time I rode it the brake switch caught fire and the Harley dealer hasn't got the parts in to fix it yet :( What do you typically have to do in front of the computer so long?

20 page research proposal for my master's and all the paperwork for my teaching internship. Last week of work and school coming up this week. 6 more months and I'll be a free man - I'm going to have an epic summer next year - just grind these last few days of my most recent 8 year stint in school lol

How much work do your brakes need - pads or rotors - they got all 4 disks on that thing?

Go American / Chinese electronics! - this summer the speedo on my dad's boat caught fire - that was fun half a mile from shore when the boat smelled like it was going to mushroom cloud from under the deck / control bank lol

I've got new OEM pads and rotors for the Cruiser, the fronts are just toast. The drivers side front is so messed up, looks like it has been making its own lathe haha. The pass side is just dragging, so I need to do both the fronts. I have discs in the rear too, but they are in good condition and have plenty of life left. Water fires are scary man, I got lucky my switch made a smoke show first so I could turn everything off and get something to put it out. If it had just been flames I would have noticed when my leg caught fire.

My ex girlfriend had that happen too - when we first met the first time driving together I figured there was a slight possibility she'd need new brakes when nails on a chalkboard x10000 and shaking would happen every time she stepped on the brakes.

My Maxima was the worst about that. Little passenger car with a heavy 3.5L V6 and tranny made for some easy rotor warping. The cruiser and that Maxima both have/had undersize front brakes in my opinion.

My Taco stops great, that's why I haven't even thought about doing the Tundra mod. Really I've never had issues with my Tacoma's braking. Just important to have your drums properly tuned to make sure the fronts aren't doing all the work. Most people have forgotten how to adjust drums and think that they don't do anything anyway, believe me they do a great job.

    What size tires you run?

Hopefully that will be the case for me too - don't know if I'm going to swap out the front brakes any time soon - the rear will be a fun project though:

    https://sosperformance.com/products...-with-parking-brake-slash-tr-dot-ps2-dot-ta16

Figure getting the 2nd gen axle for so cheap allows me some fun money for gears & locker and these :)
