OK, so I've had a loud squeal on my brakes for quite a while now. Just kind of live with it...

I've tried 3 different sets of rotors and 4 sets of pads. The last time I went back to stock rotors and stock pads. Still squeals.

Each time I've changed the rotors/pads I've thoroughly cleaned the calipers and applied new grease with new hardware.

The pads and rotors wear evenly...nothing unusual. It's usually worse when it's cold (both brakes and ambient temperature) and not so bad when the brakes warm up.

Any ideas? The last time I posted this - people told me to go back to stock Toyota parts which I did this time. But still the noise is there. Thanks!

What region are you in? Salty?

I'd encourage washing out the brakes better during car washes, ram the wand right inside the caliper and wait till the black water is done.
