My friend bought a 2000 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 V6 manual transmission white in color about half a year ago from a older gentlemen in his town. The truck just hit 100,000 miles a week or so ago. All the maintenance has been kept up to date on the vehicle. He is no longer interested in keeping the truck due to his passion for full size trucks. The truck has a 6 inch fabtech lift with struts in the front along with a spare set of struts. Just a few weeks back i replaced the upper and lower ball joints along with the steering rack inner and outer tie rods.

    - 6 inch lift
    - internal roll cage (will be taken out probably)
    - camper shell
    - Dual optima setup (bought when optimas were still good batteries)
    - cb radio
    - bed liner
    - 33 inch Toyo Open Country M/T
    - 15 inch alloy wheels
    - Brand new Hub assmebly for front right along with bearings ($500 at cost...)
    - brand new front axles
    - manual locking hubs
    - Manual trans
    - 3.4 V6
    - timing belt down around 85k-90k

There is a ton more please ask about anything i have been the mechanic on the truck for the last 20k and have driven this truck more than he has.

We are trying to decide to keep the 6 inch lift and redo the rear end before selling it. Selling it as is. or taking the 6 inch off and dropping it to a 3 inch or stock. Around where i live they go all day long for $10,000 stock height...

Have fun building a new crossmember if he takes the DB lift off

I have done it three times before so it is not a worry of mine. I have welding company that specifically works on frames and they always owe me a favor.

Any close ups of the suspension? And who made the internal cage, and more pictures of it please.

what part of the suspension do you want to see? it is a fabtech 6 inch lift. Also dont know the company on the internal cage but it is purely cosmetic. it is bolted to the floor of the truck and would do very little in a roll over, the plan is to remove the cage this weekend.

Do you know the history on this truck? It looks like one that was on here a few years ago from Utah.

As for selling, I'd get it back as stock as financially feasible. I personally don't want to buy someone else's project.

The truck was owned by a older gentlemen in Windsor CA and was bought by my friend. My friend purchased the truck less than a year ago and has been driving his F250 around and working as a woodland fire fighter so he really never had a chance to drive it. This is not a project truck and in the last year thousands of dollars in maintenance work has gone into the truck. As many know fabtech lifts are not designed for constant and hard off road use. This truck is a mall crawler and has only seen mud or fire roads in its life a few times.

Ok I'm wrong then. I remember the kid getting banned and I think he was trying to sell the truck at the time of banning. I believe he made a sale thread and was directly contradicting himself on stuff that was broken that he'd talked about in other posts.

    Anyway, nevermind all that. GLWS!

Yeah he was a real douche canoe. His name was bowhunter something (I know we've had several with that name come and go, so don't assume anyone with bowhunter in their name is an asshole haha)
