Hang tough. You'll get through the eulogy. Just remember that you don't have to go word for word, let your feelings do the rest.

I hope you are able to sleep or eat okay. I know it's hard and you don't feel like it but you have to take care of yourself too through this all. You need the food and rest for a clear mind and a body that is not tired. Make sure Natalia is eating too.

today was not horrible for me, i went back to work and it was a welcome distraction.

Tuesday was hard, the funeral was brutal, i was numb. carry the casket was the hardest yet proudest moment of my life. i Eulogized my best friend, thats not easy. i dont even remember being up there really, people tell me i did a nice job, i saved myself a copy, one for his wife, one for his parents and one for him (stayed with him for cremation) hardest thing i have ever done.

he was cremated and his wife picked up his ashes yesterday, she stayed with me and my wife last night and it was a long night. i feel so bad for her, there is nothing i can say or do, she just cries and cries, i just dont know.

tomorrow myself and some buddies are going out to the crash scene to put up a cross we made and some flowers, seems tacky but its something.

Im off the nest 3 nights so i'll probably be with my wife, friends and his wife and daughter........

    Sean,

You've certainly handled this horribly needless tragedy with class, dignity, and compassion. You are doing all you can do right now and I think posting a cross with friends at the accident scene may help you start on a the long road to healing. I know it won't be easy. I will continue to pray for your friend's family and for God to ease your pain.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'm keeping you all in my prayers, and I will pass this prayer need on to my friends. If you find yourself struggling really really hard with the situation, a lot of hope can definitely be found in various books in the Bible, such as Psalms

Glad to hear you made it through okay, I hear you about the service being a blur. It's like your mind and your feelings are all swirled together in a mix of emotions.

You've got three days off so that's actually a nice break for you. Get in touch with the beginning calmness of things and take each day as it comes. Take your time with your thoughts and feelings.

Bobby and I were active members on a 3 wheeler forum. We both loved out home ATC's, I told the boys over there about this tragedy and the support has been pouring in. I set up an account for Olivia and have been putting cash, check and PayPal donations into it. Its up to $23,and i told people only to contribute $1-5 dollars at a time , thinking they would feel uncomfortable sending funds, this is from people that never met either one of us in person but cared about him in the 3 wheeler community, pretty cool. I have seen similar things happen here as well. Thanks again for all your support

as you can see we have had a few trikes in out day. this isnt all of them, just a few....

if anyone is willing to paypal me a dollar it would be greatly appreciated. the guys over at 3wheelerworld.com have been coming through and helping out. I hope to get about 300-400 to put towards a play scape for his daughter olivia. it will go in Natalias parents back yard, they will be living there for a while. my friends have pitched in 400 so far and damn these playscapes arent cheap, even used on craigslist. i have found a couple that seem to be in good shape and that are safe for around $700

    PM me for paypal info
