I'm starting this as a space for me to keep track of what i've done and want to do to the truck.

Started out with a CPO Barca Red 2010 TRD Sport with 28k miles.

    Added and did the following:
    - TRD seat covers
    - Weathertech floor mats front and rear
    - AVS window and hood deflectors
    - extra bed cleats
    - Locking gas cap
    - Firestone Ride Rites
    - Bilstein 5100 Front (0.85") and Rear
    - Rearview mirror relocation
    - Rear differential breather relocation
    - Rust proof undercarriage and frame - see notes
    - Plasti-dipped hood scoop and lower valence
    - Plasti-dipped door sills
    - Avid front light bar and rear bumper
    - Pop n Lock - opens with passenger door unlock
    - Tri-fold Tonneau
    - URD short shifter

    Rust proofing notes:
    - Wire brushed anything resembling rust anywhere visible under the truck
    - Removed all the wheels and rear brake hubs
    - Spent about 4-5 hours wire brushing (maybe a little overboard)
    - Used several cans of Rustoleum Stops Rust Primer anywhere that had been sanded, started with brown paint and switched over to Grey about half way through, should have used Grey all the way as it looks nices
    - Used several cans of Rustoleum Frame coat - after a full days work, the truck looked like new
    - Applied ~2.5 quarts of Fluid Film. The kit i bought came with several attachments that made reaching difficult places in the frame easy
    - Worst rust was found at the hitch so it got several coats of primer, paint, and heavy fluid film
    - Garage doesn't smell like a farm anymore, only took about a week for the smell to clear out
    -

    To do:
    - Paint and install Avid sliders
    - Plasti-dip door handles
    - Plasti-dip wheels
    - Plasti-dip roof
    - Plasti-dip badges
    - Custom grill
    - Hood struts

    Pics to follow..

Hey man, how many cans did you use on your roof, how many coats, and how has it held up? Any tips for me? Also, is that a 32" or 34" LED light bar in the lower grill?

the plastidip on your door handles probably wont last very long if you get around to doing it, if youre worried about the paint, i'd find someone who wants to swap...

Funny you mention that bc i held off on doing them to see how the door sills hold up. I realized it's going to be tough to spray the back side of the handles. I kinda like the look of black handles so i'll take your advice and try find a cheap black set to see how they look on the barcelona red.

yeah, you could also just search on google for a barcelona red SR5 or TRD off road with black handles to see if you like it. just from my experience plasti dip doesnt handle being touched and rubbed on by hands very well
