    OK, are you ready??

    It's painted.

I'm so pleased. It turned out awesome. I was driving home and looking at the over the hood and it looks beautiful. I love the scoop. He has some final buffing to do like I mentioned in the last post. But I'm so pleased.

WOW, came out great IMO. With this mod you probably added more to the value of the truck when or if you decide to sell the truck

i would suggest, go with a red and black theme and get rid of the chrome. Im not sure if you want but while he was at it, you shouldve color matched the grill too. either way all i have to say is AMAZING.

Yes, it was painted on the truck. The best way for him to blend the paint onto the fenders. I'll use a rattle can and paint the lower stuff black. That's what I did before.

Excellent research and work in general. I bookmarked the spot for the hood parts, just a question though, why not paint the grill red as well? I think it would look 10x better imo. Anyway great job.

    Stock. Purchased 2/17/19. Cement!
I can't thank you all for the inspiration to do this conversion (you plus rad and the others). I was always on the fence, but got an amazing deal (see pic) to get me started. I'll probably get the headlights next and look for the misc brackets at our local junkyards. Based on your experience,
    1) What would you say you spent total for just the parts seen in the picture below?

    2) I also need to have the parts painted to match my truck. Why not have them painted before installing them?

Real rough ballpark about 600 bucks for that stuff. And I painted on the truck so he could paint color match. 8 year old paint isn't going to match factory color.

    Cool.

Does anyone that has done the swap have these 6 brackets available from their 05-11? My truck has been banged up and none of them are straight. Please PM me.
