My build thread! Goal to long travel in 2 years.

1st. Bilstein 6112/5120s. 2nd Toyo AT3 295/75/16 with pro comp raven 16s, 3rd. Mobtown rock sliders, 4th. Avid bed rack, 5. Smittybuilt rooftop tent, 6. Cali LED amber lights, 7. Sound system Audiofrog/Audiosource/JL, 8. Ricochet Full Aluminum skids, 9. Deaver leaf springs +400-700lbs , 10. Fox 2.5/2.0 upgrade from Bilstein.

Up next is a C4 Hybrid tube bumper, CBI high clearance bumper with swing arm, and regear to 5.29

 

Ive also done a sway bar delete and will be putting a harbor freight apex 12000 winch in when I get the front bumper. These next few mods will be coming in the next few weeks.

Sweet build bro I’m currently debating swapping out my 6112 for the same fox 2.5 dsc is it worth the extra money?

 

I just put on the Fox 2.5s 2 days ago. Im getting an alignment this Thurdsday then testing them out off road. I also got rid of my swaybar so ill let you know the differences.

 

cool man thanks I’m currently on the 6112 with stock uca did you get more articulation on the uca you ran?

 

I went with total chaos so there is going to be a bunch more adjustability with ride heights past 2 inches. Getting the stock UCA out might have been the hardest and most frustrating part of doing the suspension.

 

yeah I gotta get something better not sure if besides the adjustability if it will give me more travel my alignment good on the stock uca

 

I dont think you will get more travel just from the UCA but I could be wrong. I think the primary reason to get a different UCA is being able to go up to a 3 inch lift without stressing the CV axles.

 

That makes sense I have the 7th notch on the driver side and 5th on the passenger I don’t think I’m at a 3” lift probably just 2.5”
