Nice looking rig. You planning on cutting the rear flares/fenders?

    Thanks.

Yeah I am planning on doing some cutting probably next weekend. I am waiting on new front springs and figure while the shocks are out I can cycle the front easier and see what needs the bfh and what needs trimming. Then I'll probably just take 2" out of the rear so I can stuff those bad boys up in the wheel well

Rear flares cut leaving plenty of room to stuff the 35's. Front isn't gonna even come close to clearing them under articulation. But at least they clear at ride ht.

Yeah. If you look a page or so back I had a roll bar as a start to an exo cage. Re doing it and just haven't gotten around to it yet. Going for something like the allpro black Betty cage. IMG_4118.jpg

I love it. Though usually end up using the locker anytime mod and having fun in the corners. But it's good for around town when there is snow if I don't want traction control kicking in all the time.

Her dad was a fabricator. She says she prefers tig, just hasn't welded in a few years. But I had to let her get a little bit of mig practice

That makes more sense. Thought it was some new way of helping 35s not rub

Lol yeah it was for the roll bar. Though I'm torn on a different design for it but I already cut the bedside. Who knows what I'll do. Hopefully come into some money next month and can go LT and put bedsides on. Then I'll have a fresh start at cutting away at those for the cage and high clearance bumper.

The high clearance bumper begins. Hopefully I'll be able to find some free time over the next week or two to make some good progress.

Some good progress tonight. Ran out of gas and wire. And with OEW this weekend I probably won't make too much more progress til next week. About 2" higher up all around than the stock bumper, tucked in closer, and without the hitch hanging below that.

Little bit more done today. Just a lot of welding and grinding to go.
