    made a little shovel and high lift mount before heading out to cal city over last weekend

    Managed to get some carnage over the holiday weekend out at ocotillo wells. Head on with a jeep in the 4x4 park. I stopped when I saw him coming, but he wasn't looking where he was going and bumped into me. Glad I went with the thicker steel on the front skid, but he still managed to put a little bend in it and pop one of the light bar mounts off. Oh well. I managed to bend his winch mount.

    Thanks. I do run 91 octane fuel, and the supercharger was worth the cost.
    Have a few buddies that have asked me if I were to do it again if I would still get it, and the answer is hands down yes. Had an '07 prerunner for 4 years before this truck, and the only regrets on this truck are not going all the way on suspension when I did it initially. But I didn't know what I wanted to do exactly, and now I do, so the initial upgrade was not to waste, but a step in guiding me in the right direction and now I just need some extra spending money to get it where I want.

    So to answer the question, yes, the s/c is f*cking amazing and I love it.

    Cool, thanks for the response. I'm going to do it, I need to go faster when I need to go fast. We don't have a hills and desert like California, so no need for extra suspension. But we have a lot of stop lights and slow left lane drivers.

    Decided to remove my sway bar about two weeks ago. So far no complaints.
    Made a road trip out to flagstaff, az to visit the gf and see some friends last weekend. And what better to do after an afternoon of shooting, but take the long way back to the highway.

    While the girls had to take a pee break, I decided to test out the new flexing ability of not having a sway bar on a local tree stump and was impressed at getting up it and still having both rear tires on the ground (though with not too much force lifting up on the sliders, I could get the left rear off the ground a little)

    So after hitting Miller Jeep Trail with a few of the nor cal guys that came down a little while ago, I decided that my sliders probably weren't as strong as the should be. I had been planning on rebuilding them myself for a while, but just hadn't gotten around to it, until that trip where I realized if I were to ever come down on them hard, they may not entirely save me.

    So a little progress over the last few weekends as I had the chance to work on them. Busy life, busy at work, no time for the truck :sadface:

    Didn't take too many pics of the build process, but oh well. Passenger side done w/ legs mocked up until I realized I wanted them to stick out about another inch or two. so had to cut those legs back off and re-make the mounts.

    And got most of the passenger side welded on, until my buddy mentioned that we were about out of gas for the welder. So rocking only the passenger side for hopefully only a day or two until I can get some more gas and get them both on the truck and fully welded
