It came on when i was driving to school. When i come to a complete stop and accelerate it shifts and a sudden jerk will slow my truck down for a second. When i finally get up to speed i go to step on it harder and it seems to shift up, rather than down. Its almost like a gear is missing. When i get home i'm going to put the scanner on it, but until i do, does anyone know what is happening?

Without the code, it could be a plethora of things....Post the code when you have it read.

Well....You can try cleaning the Throttle Body with some electronic contact cleaner, and see if that helps. If it doesnt, You can get a new TPS at Auto Zone for about $60.00 or so.
