Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
This is more than just a rumor. It's recommended to annually spray down the door weatherstripping on any vehicle. My experience indicates it works great, too! I would imagine it would work on CV boots, too.

Also, on top of keeping the rubber in good shape, it helps prevent your doors from freezing shut in cold climates.

OP thanks for taking the plunge and giving this a shot. I'm going to have to look into doing this.

    I haven't yet.

Thin nose punches work pretty well too, probably better.

And leave your front at 3.5. I'm at 23.5 front, 24 rear. Rears too low. needs another 1-2 inches.

With the Dakar leaf pack, I'm at 25" hub to fender in the rear with a 200 lb topper on. Others are at 25.5" w/out the topper.

That's why I am purchasing Dakars in the very near future.

Toyota factory springs simply don't get it done. I lose about an inch in the rear when I load up my tools/spare parts/recovery gear for wheeling trips (together they total about 150lbs). I also have a hi-lift, bed rack, and fullsize spare that live in the bed which all add up to around 100lbs of everyday weight.

So total, I want something that maintains a ~25in ride height with 250lbs. in the bed. And I don't want it made by All-Poo.

Dakars with the D29XL add a leaf sound about right.

Since I got my front lowered (about an inch..) I haven't had any issues, but before when the spring perch was jacked way up I was going through cv boots faster than tony montana through a mountain of cocaine. Also, some tech put the bolt where the shocks attaches to the lca on backwards, so at full lock it would catch the booty ( :D ) and rip it. Might do this mod to be safe though. Cool write up man! Hope to see you around at the next meet.... Whenever that is....

Would this mod void my warranty if for any reason I have to take the truck into the dealership. I really need to do this mod cause I am getting the wear ring on my inner boots.

You've already got a lift, larger tires, and wheel spacers, and you're worried about *this* causing warranty problems?
