Thanks for all the prayers and wishes everyone. Just a little update:

    - My sister is home and doing well and losing weight at about 15 lbs per week so hopefully she'll soon be down to a more healthy weight.
    - My cousin is finally home as of yesterday. They ended up doing the surgery at another hospital so everything was pushed back a week. I haven't seen him but it's my understanding he's doing well.
    - My dad went for a bone scan today to make sure the cancer didn't spread to his bones. We should know the results by next Tuesday which is his next appointment. At that point, we'll know what course of action to follow. We've already started discussing the long talked about father/son vacation. Looks like we'll do a Carnival cruise. I've been on several. He's always wanted to go on one but my mother is scared to death of boats.

Best of luck, and the cruise sounds like a great idea.

I'm lifting you and your family up as I type this. I will tell you though from a medical opinion that if there is such a case of a good cancer, prostate cancer is it. It is generally very slow moving and fairly easy to resect and treat. My grandfather was diagnosed with it and the Drs decided not to even do anything about it because of his age. They said he would pass from old age before the cancer got him. Never the less I know you are going through a lot and will pray for you every morning. Just trust in God my fellow tacoma driver.

Last update guys. Things have went really well. My dad's bone-scan came back clean and he had his prostate surgery last Monday. He came home on Wednesday and today we went to my parents house for fathers day. This Tuesday he's going for his check-up and to get the catheter removed. We're working on planning a Carnival cruise for mid-August.

Thanks for keep me and my family in all your thoughts.
