Bilstein 5100s @ 1.75", 2'' AAL from Wheelers. Blacked Out Emblems!
Hello everyone. Just signed up recently and thought I'd introduce myself. I used to be over at toyotanation, but that place seemed to die. Anyway, I have a 2005 Silver Streak Double Cab Long Bed. Bought it new and have loved it ever since. The only things I have done to it are blacked out emblems and blacked out TRD Sport rims, and Wet Okoles. I also have my custom "Meteor Proof" sticker in the back window - remember the original commercial adds when the Tacoma gets hit by a meteor but drives away unscathed...

I'm planning on doing a modest lift. I already purchased Bilstein 5100s for all 4 corners (1.75 up front). Then going with an 2'' AAL from Wheelers and most likely 265/70/17 on my sport rims. Contemplating LR UCAs. Do I need to spend that extra money for just 1.75 up front? If anyone has any other recommendations or recommends against what I'm going for, please chime in.

My Wet Okoles. Still look brand new after 6-7 years.

If you're gonna wheel it (with 265/70/17 AT's you really should be) you may want the LR's.

Just purchased all of my lift components! Bilstein 5100s from DSM, LR UCAs and 2" AAL from wheelers. That's all I bought. Did I forget anything? Can't wait for these to ship so I can get them on!

I think he is recommending getting the Light Racing UCAs (Upper Control Arms)

If when you get and alignment the numbers don't get to factory specs then upgrading your UCAs normally fixes that. (Caster iirc is the limiting factor but idk )

I did a 1.75 and it aligned perfect. It's when you get to 2 which is highest without changing everything out. Good luck, nice ride too.
