Got them from a member on here. IIRC he got the stuff from work.

    :notsure: :sorry:
I've always thought somebody should sell a kit like this. I'm sure there's got to be one somewhere

Copy paste that number to eBay. And that's the kit I got. 182.00. 6 port. The 2 gold crews come out and u can add up to 6 ports. And a cleanable filter.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Thank you,David - that was the easiest mod to the Taco that I've done yet! Took me longer to wash my hands afterwards than to do it!

Silly question but would it be an issue if pieces of teflon tape used on the union dropped into the differential from screwing and unscrewing it? I used the thicker yellow 'gas' teflon tape.

Teflon tape is wrapped around the threads and not over the end. You can see the job you did before screwing it into the diff. Don't screw it in if you were sloppy wrapping it. Re-wrap!

As someone suggested earlier in this tread, I went with a 5/16 hose from Napa. Bought 4 linear feet, and ran to my bed compartment on driver side. Teflon top of tread only, not entire tread of new fitting. Enough to cover depth into differential. A little spit goes along way, for helping you penetrate the hose.

I thought this was the size he says in the first thread. This is my first DIY job so I’m still learning. What should I be looking for then?

The size is correct, but the material (pvc) is not the same. The thing that comes on the rear differential is not a breather but a vent. What the mod does is duplicate what Toyota puts on the front differential by putting a real breather, up high.

I don't know, as you got PVC hose and not rubber hose. PVC is typically cemented to fittings (PVC hose or pipe) and rubber is pushed over barb/ insert fittings and clamped.
