Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Iam so sorry i hate to here things like this hes in a much

better place youll see him one day

You gave Nicco nine years of love and happiness. Thank you for that! There is nothing more that a dog needs or wants and doesn't return ten fold. Condolences on your loss :(.

Sorry for your loss, I know how you feel. My 12 year old duck toller passed away today. She had a large tumor and was going in for surgery this morning but the poor girl just couldn't hold on.

Nicco was a blessing sent to you, for you and you were sent to Nicco. He will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge with any other little buddies who may have known you. When you see all of them again, then you will know what heaven truly is...

I know it's not time yet but keep your eyes open...Nicco may send another "best friend" your way who is in need! When that happens you can smile as you load him/her up and take them home...knowing Nicco approves as he sent them to you....

Very sorry for your loss man. For some reason lately I've been dwelling on what it would be like if I lost my best friend (6 year old golden retriever), and I know I would absolutely lose it. He is in a better place now.

He's a beautiful dog though, I've always loved GSD's

I'm really sorry to hear that, I just had to put a dog of mine down. I had him for 16 years and it was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. He is in a better place now!
