Welcome to TW, nice looking rig. If you plan on keeping it for that long and live near or where they use salt, get it rustproofed. My 15 is my 4th toyota, they run a long time, trick is to keep them maintained, and stop the rust before it starts.

What would you recommend to rust proof it?

I live in Michigan, so there are alot of shops that do it. Some guys use "Fluid Flim" its a spray lube that comes in a rattle can, or you can buy it by the gallon and use a garden spraier. Do a search on here about rustprooffing, there is a bunch of info. Good luck

I got mine undercoated and rust proofed at Toyota for the warranty and piece of mind that goes with it.
They did a good job but they covered some stuff that did not needed.A little too much for my taste...
It will pay off in the long run.Especially if you plan on keeping it for 20 + years.

    Very nice choice
