Just got it from the SC install. It makes the truck much much more "driveable". The power is not like a turbo where it just "comes on" but is smoother. 2nd & 6th gears are much more useful though I guess that will change with 285s. I didn't get on it hard for obvious reasons so I can't say if it's like being Don Garlits but do not know why this was not a more advertised/pushed option.

    Daddy Likey!

Edit: Oh, what's everyone's opinion on the diff drop? Do I need it?

Ok on the diff drop but why (just wondering)? Is it b/c it just sort of lowers the front of the diff a minuscule amount (roll it forward, if you will)?

Rotates it at an angle where all the internals don't get lubed properly hence doing more damage than good.

You know, you say that about the clutch. I could swear they adjusted it so it is like it grabs soon or contacts quicker. I know they didn't do anything to the clutch but I guess it's the perceived torque...how do I say this...more torque that I didn't have previously now will be seen earlier when the clutch would contact the flywheel and turn it sooner? What? F*c*ing makes no info-sense. Hell, you'd just have to drive it.

Anyway, I know there is the risk of a clutch sooner - any recommendations?

I have no intention of draging, towing, climbing vertical walls of granite. The way I drive 99% of the time (because of what I learned on) is let the clutch out in 1st then without depressing go to 2nd then 4th, finally 6th, all without using the clutch. Now, of course, traffic, women, etc. can change the usual method. Maybe I can hold onto this clutch longer than some - who knows?

    Thanks for all ya'll's help......PURTY

Gotta find a vacuum line for me knew BOOST gauge! It's going in a mount (2 pod) from cravenspeed (http://www.cravenspeed.com/) and it's really cool, for the other pod I got AFR though I kinda regret it. I don't know what I should put there.

    Sweet. Looks good!

Fughetabout the clutch it goes when it goes. I replaced my normally aspirated 4.0 clutch when the pressure plate springs broke. My friction plate was fine. It's not too bad a job if you have the room.

Hydraulic clutch btw. The only adjuster would be your pedal position. I'm sure different clutches will feel different. There are 3 models just at URD.

Hey guys. Not much progress and hopefully making my final purchase. Do I NEED to throw in any brake line? 5100s, OME 885, all-pro upper arms, 285/65?

    Thanks

If you're adding a new leaf pack, I would suggest extended brake lines in the rear.
