I'm running 285's on stock body no rubbing at all. Wanna 3"lift so I can put 33's under it. Is rubbing what I have to look forward too?

What 285’s are you running? 99.9 percent of the 285’s out there ARE 33” tires. The Nitto Trail Grapplers come in a 285/70R16. They are 31.89 tall, but that’s the only 285 I know of that isn’t 33” tall.

Every truck is different and you may be lucky with no rub. That might change if you do any sort of off-roading.

I misspoke. I am running 265 70r16 coopers so much clearance don't see how 285's would come close to rubbing.

You’d be surprised how much difference 2” makes. Are you running stock wheels? What year truck?

You are going to need to get 0 offset wheels or new UCA’s with stock wheels. OEM wheels are +25 offset which means they are pushed in toward the truck. When you put on 285’s and turn left or right, you are going to hit the UCA’s. Once you put a lift on you will need to do some trimming unless you find a 0 offset wheel. I run 0 offset wheels on mine and have a 2.5 lift and BARELY get by without trimming.

    Me so far
I'm looking to install 285/75/r16's BFG Ko2's on my SRS 2013 4x4 4 door ...BUT I'm going with 3" in the front, 2" in lvl kit in the back and bought 4x1.25" wheel spacers (I admit I went the cheaper route and just got the hockey puck spacers in front for now). My question is has any one noticed any different problems between the spacers/5100's?

(I don't meen to hijack your thread but I thought it might add some light as the difference of rubbing between hockey pucks and actual shocks and struts :/ )

So this rubbing may or may not take place. Granted this is going to be a street princess as I have no wish to take it off roading ever, Just mainly for looks. What issues am I getting myself into?
