    To pluck a turkey easily, emerse it in hot water for a few minutes. This opens the feather follicles to facilitate plucking. It really helps get those ones by the turkey butt. They are a bitch to get out.

    Cooking is all about taste (no shit einstein). I prefer to quater the bird, flour and deep/skillet fry it. Then bake the bird in a green bean caserole style dish. Pheasant is also excellent when prepared this way.
