My finished sound system!(Finally)

Just finished my install on Sunday and wanted to post up some pics. The 8" sub sounded way better than I thought it would. My system consists of 6.5" kicker components on a 250w kicker amp and an 8" kicker comp with a 100w kicker amp. The HU is an Alpine CBE-103 or something like that.

what is the problem your having are you using the uploader on the site!?

 

On all the other forums i've always used image shack and just typed in the URL in the "add image" button. What should I be doing?

 

Go up to the tool bar go to Tacoma Photos and us the uploader!

No problem are you done? Or are you still working?

 

I'm done with it. i hadn't tuned it at that point or put everything back but the pics would have been boring if I had. haha. For what I paid for it it sounds great! I bought all of the amps and speakers on ebay and halfpricecaraudio.com. I think the amps are from 08'. I know they are not the current model but they were "new".

 

Only other thing I have planned is to get someone to upholster the box with something other than the walmart carpet I have now. It was the only thing I'm not proud of.

 

Right on did you put the pannels back on the truck my buddy has the same kinda setup thats really all you need!

I'll take some this afternoon if I get a chance. Really the only thing to see is the sub though. Not much you can show off in the single cab haha.

 

I thought you might have been thinking that! I wish I had some plastic back there but that just gives me a reason to add some dampener one day.

 

Nice! I got a 12" kicker with 500W RMS in my reg cab.

 

Kicker FTW! a lot of people hate on Kicker but they make some pretty good shit! i have a 12" L5 in my truck!

 

Yeah I though about going with something bigger but I didn't want to sacrifice the space and didn't really want to try and build a slanted box. My skilsaw doesn't cut as straight as i'd like sometimes

 

The L5 was my first choice but I couldn't come up with the air space.
