So yesterday 30 Nov 15. Got rear ended by a mini van because a Ford Transit failed to realize we had stopped. But since it was on the off ramp of the high way and I was forced to stop because of the vehicle in front of me wanted to go right across the 2 other lanes into the gas station it still wasn't my fault. Rear bumper damage and possibly frame across hitch damage. My dash cover for the stereo broke on impact, and a little bit of head and back pain. The mini van had no insurance but the Ford did which was also a company vehicle. My insurance said my deductible was waived but I'm going through the company's insurance so let's hope for the best. Will update soon, getting my own estimate. The van was well the sandwich that was smashed by crappy sandwich makers at subway. Very crappy but short video from the front of the cab.

    *UPDATE* 12/02/15 1913

So far, all the insurance companies have been doing their part. Hopefully getting an estimate tomorrow from Fords insurance. Still waiting for the repair shop to call me back to set up an appt. for my insurance. Will update soon.

Hey I've seen that maneuver before, looks like a text book example of a Puerto Rican right turn.

Lot of accidents lately on TW, hope all is well.

The mini van driver had no insurance and was a POV, but the Ford was a company vehicle that did.

a what? Haha. My grandfather in Florida had a group of hispanics driving a beater cut him off, then yank the e-brake on him. He plowed right into them. He told the cop what happened, and they were screwed.

Grr. Sucks dude. I almost had the same situation last week when a car decided to turn across three lanes of traffic to enter Krystals.

Isn't the pink mustache a sign that the van drives for Lyft?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Imo keep your mouth shut, go to the hospital, contact your doctor and a lawyer. Good luck.

Lucky you had the dash cam or it would've looked like you just decided to come to a complete stop for no reason!

Send that video to the cops so they can ticket the tool that caused the accident by making an illegal right hand turn. Second, next time move into the median or a parking lot because there are plenty of high speed morons still coming up behind the accident.
