Needed to practice and gain a little knowledge. Bought a torq because it came with pads and chemical guy stuff. I have a 2009 corolla I use to use to commute, never waxed it, rain washes it, sits under trees gathering sap now. Lot of cat, raccoon scratches. I washed it and used a Mother’s speed 2.0 clay. With a Medium pad I used the v36 first, took a lot of them out, redid it with the v32. Looked better, redid it with mcguires scratch x. Only light pressure on machine, may have needed a little more but made a really big improvement. Wife’s rav is next test subject. Same kind of scratches. Hard to tell on pics but you have to look for scratches now. Just did the hood.

Try 3D ONE, it cuts and finishes down pretty well. Very pad-depending compound. Pretty wide range of corrections it can tackle, from minor swirls/love marks to scratches.

You did a nice clean up on your test panel btw:hattip:

Looks nice man. The Scratch X is the fine stuff so that's why you still have some leftover marks..

    Thanks,
I ordered the 3D one. Going to try it along with more pressure and slow down a little.

Looks good, but remember, don't apply too much pressure on the machine/pad. Let the pad and liquid do the work. Light pressure is all that's needed. Too much pressure will heat up the foam pad and it will crumble/disintegrate from the inside. If you're not getting the results you are looking for, go over the area a second time, or try using a more aggressive pad with the same liquid.
