Hi, I just got my Tacoma 5 weeks ago. It's my fourth truck, my first new truck, and my first Toyota. It's a base model, extended cab, 4 cylinder, manual transmission, 4x4. I like it, and I hope it lasts a long time. I was trying to decide between a Tacoma and a Chevy Colorado, and my mechanic told me, get the Toyota, I'll never see you again. (I'm sure he meant it the best way) I haven't checked my gas mileage yet, but I'm going much longer between fill-ups. I don't regret at all getting the 4 cylinder. It has plenty of power for my needs.
