Put tequila in your tomato juice if you want hair on your chest.

Funny maybe, but I can't find the post I was referring to! I must have been a couple pages behind.
BTW, Coke is a brand not a generic term. Pop (however retarded, although I use this term) and soda are generic. And If I make it to the meet, I won't say pop, soda, or coke. I'M GONNA SAY BEER, BEER, BEER! If not beer, I'll be drinking sun tea.

I like the way you think. The only time "pop" is acceptable is when you say "Dear Lord i need to pop some asprin! After last night my head is killing me!"

I don't know if "pop" is midwest or northeast, as I've lived in both areas.

That's understandable. It's a testament to this lengthy, pointless intro thread of mine. It's like abstract art. Since I don't have mechanical skills, it's the best contribution I can make to the site.

Go back and re-read the discussion about various brand names that have become generic. Coke is perfectly acceptable in that usage. Pop is what you do to a balloon.

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
Pop is definately not a northeast term, in the NE area, its breakfast, lunch and dinner for the most part except on sunday as brunch is popular anytime after 10am and going till about 1:30pm, then of course you have Sunday dinner which can start at 1pm, which is generally a sitdown meal and the main meal of the day. At least thats how it was in my home and in general in my town, but of course that was the 60's. Showing my age, right?
Brunch is always popular in the cities. Brunch in Charleston sounds terrific.
Speaking of native amercian indians, when in the service one of guys in my office was 1/2 native american and he married a full blooded native american and this girl could drink anyone under the table. She must have had a hollow leg. LOL

At risk of stereotyping, I always thought that Indians couldn't hold their liquor well. That's why old western movies (filmed in California, nd) sometimes have sad Indian drunks hanging around frontier towns.

Dont get me wrong, stereotypically indians are all hopeless drunks but they have to drink ALOT to get drunk. I actually read that genetically Many native americans were had a predisposition to becoming addicted to alcohol. I dont know if thats true or not but kinda interesting

I guess I misunderstood that stereotype then, but your explanation makes sense. Shocking!

Edit: how far is page 11, really?

You forgot the 'pokin' emoticon. Haven't we had this discussion a few pages back (even by your measure)? But thanks anyway, it got me to look at the thread again and see that my last post did hit page 11 :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance:

I need to stop doing quick reply because it doesn't reflow the page. That's why I didn't notice my last post went onto a new page.

Hey, did anybody see Top Gear last night? They made an amphibious Hilux by strapping an outboard engine on the tailgate!
