Hey there, from Newfoundland Canada, I bought a 2003 4x4 Green Tacoma TRD 52,000 miles, figured I would join the board for information on various topics.

Hi everyone. I have been wanting a Tacoma for years now and finally snagged one in 09. It just a 05 SR5 everything is still stock. I've been reading a lot of the post and seems like there's not much you can do for improving gas mileage. I put in a K&N filter and new spark plugs and got an increase of about 1/2mpg. I'm standing at about 6'4'' so i still have to kinda get into my truck not get up into my truck lol. I'm looking into lifting it and putting on some bigger tires. Not looking for off road capabilities mainly going for a good look without killing the gas mileage and the wallet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey everybody. I've had my Tacoma TRDOR since about June of 2009 and loving it so far. Already 11K hard-earned miles including towing, off-road, etc.

First thing I bought for it was an Undercover tonneau cover. Having never owned a truck befofre I didn't understand the lack of a trunk and how much a pain that is! Anyway the Undercover is awesome. Highly recommend it.

No chip programmer for our trucks. I don't know if anyone's really gotten proven gains with CAI or exhaust. Maybe if you did the supercharger, CAI, and exhaust together.

Want some more mods check the link in my sig.

Hello everybody! I got my two door Tacoma on February 28 of 2009. We bought it when I was 17. We as in my family have been looking for a pick up for me and went to our local Toyota dealer and I fell in love with a white Tacoma that just got loaded off of the truck that day.

    Its a 2.7 4cyl with a 5 speed trans. and has the SR5 package.

New here from Delaware. So new, in fact, I don't even have my truck yet! Picking it up tonight. 2008 Access Cab TRD Sport w/Tow Pkg. in Indigo Ink. Only 7600 miles on it. :) My decision to buy was due, in part, to posts I've read here on this great board. Lot's of great knowledge and tips. Thanks for sharing your info and being here for us newbies. Can't wait to get my hands on my new Toy!

Nice ride! Awesome red color. I bought a new Tacoma a few days ago, too. I got the PreRunner TRD double cab and I like it a lot. I've already purchased some simple accessories such as exhaust chrome tip, chrome door handles (you stick in on) and also chrome mirror (another stick on). You might want to think about getting those accessories too to make your truck a bit more flashy for cheap.

    Cheers!

I wanted to make my first post. I have had my 2008 PreRunner Double Cab for 2 years now and have enjoyed it. It seems to work best with a boat on hitch, headed for the lake.

    Hey Guys,

It's great to be a (soon)legitimate Tacoma owner! Your forum has provided a lot of information (vids, links, reviews) to me over the past few weeks. Which, led to my first purchase of a new truck.

It's being built as I speak (since I requested a 6 speed), and should be here by mid March. I still drive my tank, a 91' Ford Ranger, 5 spd. Nicknamed 'Tank,' for I rolled it on to its side 2 years ago, and rolled it right back over, and still drive it to this day. Well, I appreciate all of your input, and I hope over the years, I can return the favor to the forum.
