I'm trying to imagine what a "forged" brain means. Is it counterfeit? Or has someone heated it and banged it with a hammer on an anvil? I knew you couldn't hold your tequila, but that's extreme.

I like the counterfeit type of forged. That lets me think of you like the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz.

it'd help, the tone of your voice doesn't translate well through fingers into text. it's hard to tell when people are actually pissed at me for something or not

Don't worry. If I was pissed, you wouldn't have any doubt in your mind.

Edit: Oh, yeah, I'd better give a :)

Well into page 12 by the way. :bananadance: I told you a while back that page 17 was my expectation and I still think it is possible. Now that you have Turd on this thread I am thinking I may have underestimated. :D

I took vacation the week before Christmas and was away from the computer. Catching up from a week's posts on this site is a chore! But nobody talked on my thread -- what's up with that? How am I going to continue to stretch it without some help? rhoppas, are you going to let ndcouch get away with that last zinger?

When I went through my snail mail, I see that Toyota Corporate has sent me a quality survey. I'm going to complain about the weak tailgate and rear suspension to have that on record before I talk to the dealer about the TSBs at my first oil change (about 1000 miles away now). I'm also going to suggest a power rear window (at least in the double cabs) and a cargo light. Anything else I should put on the record? Oh, yeah, I should also mention the slight vibration at 20 mph. In case they ever get that one figured out, I'll be on record.

Hey sawdust, haven't seen you in a long time. I was startin to wonder if i had won our little war. I know what you mean about catching up after you've been gone for a while, it usually takes me a few days to catch up

Do you normally use the "new posts" link? I do, but it's a problem when there's a big batch to catch up on. By the time I'm on page 3 the search times out, or else I post to a thread and then it decides that was my last time to visit the site and "new posts" doesn't let me catch up anymore.

I just went to the infamous Sawdust new member thread to see what page he was on and I see that somehow I missed this post. How the hell did I miss that? Hey nd, I think the Kansas Jayhawks may be looking for a good male cheerleader. You could check out how a decent ball team plays the game while you are there. I'm only 25 minutes away. We can go have a beer...

"infamous"? "infamous"? But I wanted to be famous :pout:

What's the difference anyway? Is this like "flammable" and "inflammable"?

OK..you made me go look up the word. I didn't realize there was such a bad tone to that word. The dictionary says:

    1) Having an exceedingly bad reputation; notorious.
    2) Causing or deserving infamy; heinous: an infamous deed.
    3) Law
Punishable by severe measures, such as death, long imprisonment, or loss of civil rights.
Convicted of a crime, such as treason or felony, that carries such a punishment.

I suppose number 1 could apply depending upon who you ask. :D You probably don't deserve death though...
