Stay with the size Toyota recommends . larger tires will rob you of MPG, cause your
    transmission to fail sooner.

Been wanting a truck after all these years. Just got myself a brand new 2013 Tacoma TRD 4x4 couple of weeks ago. I've been in and out of the threads seeing lessons learn before I go on a spending spree on a lift (3or6 most likely a 6)in and wheels/tires. So far I've narrowed my wheels / tires to the Mickey Thompson's and as far as lift goes it's still up in the air (1. Fabtech 2. Pro Comp 3. BDS) complete kit of course. I want to avoid costly repairs later on by just purchasing a complete kit that's reliable. The truck is being daily driven right now. So far that's what's up. :woot:

    Hi!
I'm from the Southeastern part of Manitoba and enjoying my 2012 SR5 Dcab Tacoma that i bought last August 2012. This is my first brand new vehicle that I bought eversince I came here in the land of the cold and maple syrup. Previously, i'm driving a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 Limited. No regrets!!! I'm new here and hoping to find lots of information in this forum!

Just got my 285/75/16s after months of contemplating. Had to do some minor trimming to the inner wheel wells and a small portion of the actual fender. I'm not sure if I need to do the pinch weld because it's not rubbing under normal conditions. I'm sure that will change as soon as I hit the trails.

    Hello Fellow Taco Owners!

I`ve been lurking around for a while (more than 20 years) until I decided to act on my desire to acquire a Taco.

It`s done: A black 2010 TRD Sport Long bed

It is basically stock for now... :D

    taco1_063457b766c5b6bad66cb4d61bf34f7ea700a23f.jpg

Already purchased a leveling kit even if I only get it this Thursday!

It`s bad, I`m waking up in the middle of the night and the first thing I think about is....going back to sleep...followed by my future Taco. (Ok I admit, I think about the Taco first...lol)

Stay tune.. I will progressively perform mods...like most of you :)

I`m glad to have found this forum..Many tips...

I just purchased my first Tacoma, it is a used 2007 TRD off road, 100k miles, color white no mods as of yet (only been 8 hrs) but damn I love this ride....traded in an 05 Jeep Wrangler that burned more money on gas than a high priced call girl...so what should I look for as in what breaks, what needs upgrading? or any neat mods? I look forward to searching these forums for any help...
    Sincerely,
    Prunes
