Okay, it is official... This is the longest intro thread on TW. Congratulations. I show 40 posts per page, and this is on page 7 for me!

Thank you. It's been the longest for a while, but I want to pull away from any possibly upstart competition. I want anyone else who wants to compete in the longest-intro-thread-in-history competition to be so awed by the length of mine they give up and find something easier to get a record in, like the number of pennies balanced on their noses.

OK. I'm feeling generous this morning now that 007 has made this "official".

Thanks, ND, you've helped provide counterpoint through some lulls in the thread.

I've got some update on my leaf spring TSB efforts. I'd carefully crafted a polite but firm email to send to the service advisor I worked with and attached the pdf of the TSB. However, three times my email was bounced back as suspected spam. That was upsetting. Work's been too busy the past week to call and deal with the hassle over the phone or to go argue in person. However, last night I got a call from Toyota wanting me to rate my experience with my 5K service. I did. Now, I'll be expecting a call from my local dealer -- hopefully the service manager or at least somebody higher on the food chain than the service advisor I worked with.

It's fine with me  I don't have the need for the last word, but ever since ND threatened me for not joining the alliance, it's been my life's goal to prevent him from having the last word.

Yes, yes. I even admitted (on this thread) that my goal was not lengthy substance, just length. I'm not particularly mechanically inclined, so I'm on this forum to learn and provide comic relief -- at least until I learn something, then I'll be dangerous.

Don't knock it. You're the post whore and like the attention of having your name in a thread title. I've carved out my own niche here. I'm the longest-intro-thread whore. Don't be jealous.
